Dreams and Healing

I Want to share this article with you.

All dreams come in the service of health and wholeness. No dreams ever come to tell us what we already know; their context is to move us further along in our growth and development. Jung's studies showed that the dream is a natural pathway for bridging the gap between the conscious and unconscious. He concluded that the conscious and unconscious minds both have critical roles to play in the equilibrium of the total self. When they are out of balance with each other, neurosis or other disturbances result.

Working with dreams helps us to understand the universal archetypes or patterns that we have in our unconscious. When we use dreams and work with the symbols that we find in them, we learn more about ourselves and the meaning of our lives. The point of working with our dreams is to build consciousness. By learning to do dreamwork, we gain insight into the conflicts and challenges our lives present, for it is in the world of dreams that the unconscious is working out powerful dynamics inside us. When we take the time to learn their language, we'll discover that all of our dreams are masterpieces of symbolic communication.

Understanding Dreams:  There are several basic kinds of dreams and often you can recall snatches from many of them. As you begin to work with dreams more often, you'll learn to recognize the differences and determine the value each is offering you. Clearinghouse dreams clean out the mental and emotional clutter of daily life. Teaching dreams give you information on problems and how to handle them by changing the way you approach life.

Precognitive dreams give you a glimpse of the future. Visionary dreams are messages from a higher power and concern spiritual growth. Outside interference dreams are produced when something is happening in your physical environment and causing disruption-you dream you are very warm and awake to find too many covers piled on top of you. Sexual dreams often indicate learning to balance the male and female polarities within us. Recurring dreams indicate a message which you are not seeing. Death dreams frequently mean change; that is, the ending of the old and making way for the new. Snake dreams represent kundalini energy or life force.

Inner Work:  Most people do not approach the unconscious (inner work) or dream work voluntarily. They only become aware of the unconscious when they get into trouble with it. We modern people are often so out of touch with the inner world that we encounter it mostly through psychological stress.

Author and analyst, Robert Johnson, says that "When our conscious attitudes are at odds with our instinctual selves-then we begin to realize that the unconscious is playing a role in our lives, and we need to face it. The inner life that Jung described in his studies is the secret life we all lead, by day and night, in constant companionship with our unseen, unconscious, inner selves." To get a true sense of who we are and to stay balanced, we must communicate with our dreams and value them for the insight they reveal.

Jungian dream analyst Stephon Kaplan-Williams says that, "The connection between who we present ourselves as and who we actually are can only be strengthened and made real by such a strong commitment we will endure whatever hardship necessary to achieve personal transformation. I know of no better form than dreamwork for this central task because it is based on following a source other than ego which reveals itself through dreams."

GET READY FOR LOVE IN 2012

I listened to a interesting program on the web and would like to share some of it with you.
“LOVE” right now should no longer a four letter word that we toss around carelessly and recklessly. We can’t afford to do it any longer. We’ve been living out of the lower vibration of what we think love is.
We gathered love and how we ourselves live out love from belief systems that were installed in us growing up, from our parents and grandparents, television, movies, and the stories we told ourselves about love.
Because there has never been a strong emphasis on it, we don’t understand love with a capital L: Self Love. If we don’t know how to love ourselves we can’t possibly know how to love another; we can’t possibly understand oneness: LOVE = ONENESS.
Love doesn’t equal the separated notions that we have carried with us for ions of time. It’s not selfish to think about what it is to love ourselves. Most of us don’t even like ourselves. How are we supposed to love the people we say we love if we don’t even love ourselves? Why we have failed at love so often is because the majority of human beings are not living authentically.
We’ve been stuck in the human template so long that we couldn’t actually love authentically because of our installed belief systems, pain, suffering, and a deep sense of self disdain. We couldn’t find our way to be authentic
When we don’t know ourselves we act out. We act out of alignment and opposite authenticity.
What does it look like to live authentically?  We are being asked right now to take off all the masks we have worn over a lifetime, because we wanted to be loved.
If you really want to know what love is, find out what it is to love yourself – not by getting a pedicure or a massage, although that is nice too. When you find yourself moving past the patterns and traits that we have held onto for thousands of years, to the level of the divine source, then we’ll begin to love ourselves. There’s a new level of respect that you can hold for yourself.
As a collective we have an unparalleled opportunity now to move from the 3rd dimension into the 5th dimension. In order to make that leap we have work to do.
We human beings live with this underlying feeling of not being good enough. That alone has caused us to try to fit ourselves into a thousand different molds. It doesn’t work because it’s not authentic.
We can start by knowing that we were chosen to come to this planet at this most fortuitous time in human history.
You can tell yourself: “I am Good enough” Why should I keep putting on masks that don’t fit anyways?
Just try out being real, living your truth, no matter how vulnerable it might make you feel.

When we hold onto our stories we are holding onto density. Density is like being out in a boat, dropping the anchor and staying in one place. The stories aren’t serving us anymore: nobody cares, it’s irrelevant. We need to be refining every single day. Stories live in your solar plexus, your liver and your heart.
In Hypnosis we can help you release your stories to the light and pave the way for ourselves to live authentically by clearing away the past hurts and painful experiences. We can reshape them to allow us to love ourselves more and therefore love our loved ones more honestly. Get your ego out of the way, get your mind out of the way, and get your resistance out of the way.
Hypnosis can help you unplug and clear out your old beliefs. It can help upgrade the mind and refine your focus to come into your authenticity.
We are cocoons and we could be butterflies.

Vancouver Protesters

How is it possible for a planet full of people, nearly 7 billion of us, who want fundamentally the same thing & not be able to achieve it? Peace, prosperity, love, fulfillment, opportunity etc.
After thousands of years of trying, if we were in a science lab we would be saying “what’s the missing data?” There’s something we don’t fully understand here.

We claim to be an advanced species. We can split the atom, explore space, and we can unravel DNA. Why can we not accomplish what we say we all want? Because 98% of us spend 98% of our day on things that don’t matter. We wander about our day in an unconscious state, not remembering how we got to our destination or not remembering what we went to the store for.
We have to ask the question “Who am I”? What is my essence?
More importantly “What would it look like to live in the moment and to be the change I desire?”
When you hurt someone else it is because of your own hurt. If someone hurts you say ”What hurts you so bad that you feel you have to hurt me in order to heal it?” Hmmmm! If I really were one with them what would I want right now from me?
Do not pass any person, any moment, by not saying, “I am that” Everything that you see you are seeing yourself. Noting that I AM THAT. IAM THAT. I need to release & let go of my judgments. A wise master once said “There is a little bit of Hitler in all of us”. If not we wouldn’t be able to recognize it. We wouldn’t know what we’re looking at. At some level there is a little bit of it in all of us.

Let’s write a NEW cultural story in all the areas in which we react. We’ve been following the old cultural norm way too long, I know I have.
